Recent sightings of Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas together in London have sparked rumors about a possible romantic relationship. Despite the speculations surrounding the nature of their relationship, it seems like the two Hollywood stars are just good friends and their latest encounter involves an upcoming project.
According to an insider, there’s nothing to those romantic rumors, and their meeting at the London Heliport by helicopter on March 14 was strictly professional. A source told People the two actors enjoyed dinner with their agents "discussing potential collaborations down the line," highlighting that the pair "appeared to have no romantic connection, just friends."
The two are known for their latest action roles, with Ana preparing for the release of her highly anticipated movie 'Ballerina' which is a continuation of the John Wick franchise, and Tom starring in the new 'Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning' movie.
The 62-year-old actor and 36-year-old actress are collaborating on a new project, with director Doug Liman also joining them in London. However, details about the project remain under wraps.
This is not the first time the two have been seen together. Just a month earlier, on February 13, they were photographed in London during a night out, where they were reportedly having dinner with their agents.
At the time, a source explained that they were discussing future collaborations, and emphasized that the pair’s dynamic appeared friendly and professional. So, while fans may be speculating, it’s clear that Cruise and de Armas are simply working together as colleagues and friends.
It was also reported that the fan-favorite actor is involved in Alejandro González Iñárritu's upcoming film, which has yet to be titled and will be released in 2026.
This would be his first English-language project since 'The Revenant' and the storyline follows “the most powerful man in the world" as he "embarks on a frantic mission to prove he is humanity’s savior before the disaster he’s unleashed destroys everything.”
