Ivanka Trump is passing down some important family recipes. In a new string of Instagram stories, she shared photos of herself and her daughter Arabella preparing Challah bread, one of the staples of Jewish cuisine.
It seems like Ivanka and Arabella spent plenty of time over the weekend in their kitchen, where they recruited the help of baking expert Rochie Pinson to learn how to bake Challah bread. Pinson has written books on the subject and often shares instructive videos on her social media pages.
Ivanka shared various stories documenting their process, including a photo of Pinson and Arabella smiling for the camera as they began to prepare the dough.
For the occasion, Arabella wore a brown button up sweater and jeans, and smiled brightly for the camera. "Thank you, Rochie Pinson (the Challah whisperer!) for sharing your joy and passion with Arabella and me this afternoon!"
Ivanka also shared a video of the braiding process of the Challah bread, showing her daughter braiding the read over a translucent table with a guiding grid.
"Okay, you're made for this!" said Pinson in the video, adding some minor corrections.
Ivanka shared photos of their braked bread, showing that she and Arabella ended up making three rolls of different colored rolls, with some containing seeds and what appears to be chocolate.
She concluded her Challah journey by sharing an Instagram story shared by Pinson, which showed her and Arabella smiling proudly while showing off their baked rolls. "Passing our beautiful traditions on, from mother to daughter. Truly a significant moment!" wrote Pinson.
She seemed very impressed by Arabella's work, writing, "This talented girl made these herself. First time!"
Ivanka's weekend was filled with activities with her friends and family
Aside from baking with her daughter, Ivanka also spent her weekend alongside her friends. She shared some Instagram stories alongside Isabela Grutman, the entrepreneur and influencer, who's become one of Ivanka's closest friends in Miami.
The photo shows the two at their local Regal cinema, where they watched a movie and enjoyed some popcorn together.
"Dinner and a movie with the kind, brilliant and beautiful Isabela Grutman," she wrote over the post.
