Kim Kardashian's engagement ring isn't just a dazzling rock; it's a piece of pop culture history. And now, she's made it clear who will inherit it. In the latest episode of "The Kardashians," Kim spilled the details about the fate of her first engagement ring from Kanye West. While on a trip to India with Khloé Kardashian for a wedding, the sisters reminisced about Kim's lost jewelry, specifically, the infamous stolen 20-carat diamond from her 2016 Paris robbery.

But plot twist! Kim's first engagement ring from Kanye? Safe and sound. And she already has plans for it. "My first one that I got engaged with Kanye [was] a cushion cut, and that was the only piece of jewelry that I owned that I didn't take to Paris," Kim said.

So who's the lucky recipient? North West, of course.

Why Kim Chose North for the Ring

Kim revealed that she's holding onto the sentimental piece for her eldest daughter, North, 11. The reasoning? North was technically there when it all happened. "And so that one I'm going to give to Northie because she was with me when I got engaged," Kim said. "And she held it after and I took a photo. She was just a few months old." Cue the "awws."

Kanye originally proposed to Kim with a 15-carat cushion-cut diamond ring. Fast-forward to 2016, and he upgraded her with a second ring—a 20-carat emerald-cut stunner. Unfortunately, that ring, along with other high-value jewelry, was stolen in Paris.

A Little Kanye Shade?

Kim also shared a very Kanye-esque moment from their marriage. At one point, she wore both engagement rings at once, which led to a strong reaction from Ye. "Kanye saw it and went, 'Don't you ever wear both of your rings at the same time. Are you looking to get robbed?'" Kim recalled.

Well, he wasn't exactly wrong, considering what happened later.

Life After the Ring(s)

Kim and Kanye finalized their divorce in November 2022 after six years of marriage. They continue co-parenting their four kids: North, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5.

North West was upset

Kim is building a genuine connection with her 11-year-old daughter, North West. After her divorce from Kanye West, Kim revealed how impacted North.

In an episode of Hulu's "The Kardashians" on Thursday (Feb. 27), Kim shared an update with her sister, Kourtney Kardashian. "The craziest thing happened. Tell me if this happened with Mason," Kim says, referring to Kourtney's 15-year-old son. "North is like obsessed with me now. And calls me with her friends like, 'Mom, I love you, you're the best mom. I love you so much.'"

During their conversation, Kourtney asks, "Do you think you've changed?" This prompts Kim to reflect: "I mean possibly. It was a year of being mad at me."

She acknowledges that the divorce was a turning point. "Well, also, you guys were getting a divorce," Kourtney notes, and Kim agrees. "I think it was all the divorce. It's insane the turnaround," she says.

She openly admits, "Just because I know how to manage my stress well doesn't mean that I don't feel the emotions. If I'm sad, of course, I will cry and feel it."
