Michele Morrone only has good things to say about his co-star, Blake Lively. The pair are starring in "Another Simple Favor," which just premiered at SXSW amidst Lively's controversial and ongoing litigation with Justin Baldoni, her director and co-star from the film "It Ends With Us."
When asked about Lively, Morrone only had great things to say, sharing how much he enjoyed working with her and the development of their friendship.
“We have an incredible friendship; we’ve become such great friends," he said to The Hollywood Reporter. "She’s an incredible artist; she’s a great actress and it was a blast.”
Paul Feig, the film's director, also came out in support of Lively, praising her ideas and her influence over her character, specifically her wardrobe. “Her ideas on wardrobe are spectacular,” said Feig. “When she first shows up [in the movie], Blake was like, ‘I want to show up in a suit that looks like a prison outfit.’ It’s one of these things that when somebody first says it, you’re like, ‘That’s weird.’ Then you realize it’s actually brilliant.”
Morrone played Lively's love interest in the film, which marks Lively's first premiere since she filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni. She also sued him for attempting to destroy her reputation following the debut of their film.
