It seems fans of Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber can't get enough of the rumored longtime drama. The singer and the businesswoman have been at the center of another viral moment after a TikTok user claimed that Hailey had 'liked' a video that mocked Selena's latest cover with Interview magazine, which shared a glimpse of her relationship dynamic with Benny Blanco amid their engagement.
Selena's fans have taken to social media to defend her, while Hailey's fans have said that the interaction is fake. Now, Hailey's rep is stating that the TikTok user is making it up for engagement, and her 'like' on the video is not real, despite her showing a screenshot that the rep says is edited.
"This never happened," the rep told E! News in a statement on March 9. "This entire story has been fabricated by a content creator looking to capitalize off of an old, tired narrative," the rep added.
The video that the Tiktok user, Courtney Presto, showed on the social media platform commented on Selena and Benny's romance and looks in the Interview mag cover. "I genuinely can't decide which is the worst," the user said in the video, adding, "I had to look at these photos so you do too."
In her new post, Courtney said. "Hailey Bieber herself liked my TikTok. Don't necessarily come for me in the comments, but I was being a little shady to Selena Gomez. It was about these pictures, which they knew everyone was gonna have some type of reaction to."
Courtney also said that Hailey "probably f---ing hates Selena." But despite the drama, the pair seemed to have squashed their feud rumors a few years ago.
Following the engagement announcement, online users pointed out that Hailey had shared her support for their relationship, as she had 'liked' the post where Selena showed her diamond ring and shared a glimpse at the engagement proposal.
Hailey has also said that she and Selena have spoken privately since her wedding in 2018, and that there is "no drama" between them.
