Lady Gaga is doubling down on her desire to be a mom. The musician talked about wanting to expand her family during an interview with Access Hollywood while promoting her new album 'Mayhem.'
The singer recently made headlines for her upcoming performance in Mexico City, which is set to take place on the same day as Katy Perry's concert, causing fans to start reselling their tickets.
However, apart from her fan-favorite new album, Gaga is focusing on her personal life and revealed to the publication that her "greatest vision" is to start her motherhood journey with her romantic partner, Michael Polansky.
The pair shared news about their engagement last year, and Michael has been an important part of creating her new project, encouraging her to go back to her pop roots and give fans what they want.
"I really want to be a mom," Gaga shared about her hopes for the next decade. "The greatest vision I have is that," she explained to the outlet. Gaga and her partner have been dating since 2020, and this is not the first time the singer talked about their plans for the future.
During another interview with Elle, she revealed that she is "ready" to be a mom, and explained their philosophy. "That's something Michael and I have talked about a lot — allowing our kids to be their own people. It's such an intense thing for kids coming into the world," she told the publication.
"And they're told how to think and what to believe in and how to eat ... I just kind of want to let my kids find out who they are," she added. "I would want my children to understand that whatever my artistry means to them is totally up to them," she said. "I would never actually want to shape it or tell them how to think about me."
