Pamela Bach, one of the stars of "Baywatch" and the ex-wife of David Hasselhoff, has died. She was 62 years old.
Bach was found dead in her home on Wednesday after her family members reported being unable to contact her. She died by suicide, reports TMZ, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hasselhoff, who was married to Bach from 1989 to 2006, shared a statement on behalf of their family.
"Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult period but kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time."
The pair shared two daughters, Hayley and Taylor Ann. They met on the set of "Knight Rider," one of Hasselhoff's most iconic roles.
Pamela's representative Sharon Kelly shared a statement of her own, sending her thoughts to her family.
"My heart goes out to her family, her beautiful daughters and granddaughter who Pamela constantly gushes about and loves so dearly. Pamela often talked about how very proud she was of both her daughters and what they have blossomed into. She was a 'Proud Mama'!"
