Irina Shayk has just made her debut at the Rio de Janeiro Carnival. The celebration is one of the largest and most iconic in the world and is known for featuring iconic guests, including other Victoria's Secret angels.
Shayk was the guest of honor of the Beija-Flor de Nilopolis samba school, a towering company in Brazil and the world that is the recipient of dozens of recognitions for dance. Shayk kept her look hidden from guests until the last possible moment, covering herself with a grey coat.
She wore a blue beaded bikini that she paired with thigh-high boots, accessories in her arms and forearms, and a crown of feathers.
Shayk shared her excitement on various posts on social media, showing a full view of her outfit. "Pinch me, this is a dream!" she wrote in a post. "I can’t believe this is real…BRAZIL, thank you SO MUCH for the love you gave me! RIO, you have been so magical!!! BRAZIL, I’m obsessed with you!"
Shayk shared even more clips and reactions on social media, seemingly thrilled with the carnival and her inclusion in the historic event.
More details about Shaky's look
Shayk's outfit was designed by the Brazilian Henry Filho, who's previously made some of the most striking outfits that have graced the Rio de Janeiro Carnival stage.
Ahead of her debut, Shayk teased her appearance sharing a look of herself in bed while only wearing the bracelets and necklace she'd wear at the parade. "Humbled to be part of the parade tonight," she wrote.
"Nervous and excited! BRAZIL, I love you! Thank you for the warmest welcome. What a great opportunity to be here, celebrating life and love!" she concluded, encapsulating the message of her outfit.
