Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner might not be married anymore, but they've mastered the art of co-parenting. The former couple was all smiles as they reunited to celebrate their son Samuel's 13th birthday with a paintball party over the weekend.

Affleck and Garner, both 52, were spotted sharing laughs and rocking camouflage-style outfits as they joined in on the paintball fun. According to Page Six, the exes looked at ease, once again proving their post-divorce relationship is solid.

A source told PEOPLE that their dynamic is in a great place. "Jen's very happy with Ben. He spends a lot of time with the kids." Another insider added, "She makes him laugh like no one else can. She seems happy that Ben's happy."

Their Post-Divorce Relationship

Affleck and Garner were married for a decade before calling it quits in 2015. They finalized their divorce three years later, but they've remained close for the sake of their three kids—Violet, 19; Fin, 16, and Samuel, who is now officially a teenager.

No drama, no tension—just two exes putting their kids first.

Where Their Love Lives Stand Now

Since their split, both have moved on to new relationships. Garner has been in an on-again, off-again relationship with businessman John Miller since 2018.

On the other hand, Affleck made headlines when he rekindled his romance with Jennifer Lopez, marrying her in 2022. But after two years, their marriage came to an end when J.Lo filed for divorce in August 2024, finalizing it by January. TMZ reported that both Ben and Jennifer "would each leave with what they had individually acquired during the marriage. The money Ben earned from his various film projects is his, and the same applies to what JLo earned during her two years of marriage, and neither will pay spousal support to the other."

It was also revealed that JLo stopped using Affleck as her last name and that they had also reached an agreement on their Beverly Hills mansion, which they bought in 2023 for more than 60 million dollars and put up for sale in 2024 for 68 million. The ex-couple would share the profits from the sale once it was finalized.

As for Affleck's current love life? A source told PEOPLE, "Ben's casually dating, but it doesn't seem to be a focus."

Right now, he's all about work and family. If he's not filming, he's working long hours at his office or spending time with his kids, especially Samuel, whom he's reportedly very close with.

Co-Parenting Goals

At the end of the day, Affleck and Garner's relationship proves that divorce doesn't have to mean dysfunction. They show up for their kids, support each other, and even share some laughs along the way.

And really, that's the best kind of co-parenting win.
