Tate McRae parties with Olivia Rodrigo in metallic semi-sheer dress at 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Tate McRae stepped out in a stunning metallic look at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party following a star-studded Academy Award ceremony featuring special moments and unexpected wins.

The fan-favorite singer, who has been enjoying the success of her new album 'So Close To What,' and traveling around the country promoting the new project, had a fun time with her closest friends in Los Angeles at the exclusive event.

Tate was photographed on the red carpet wearing a custom Ludovic de Saint Sernin dress featuring a Swarovski crystal mesh and a silver metal mesh. The figure-hugging dress was made entirely by hand and included a thigh-high slit.

The singer completed the semi-sheer look with Rene Caovilla’s strappy sandal heels and rocked a fun makeup look, including a soft pink lip. She styled her signature honey-blonde hair in loose waves and gave her best poses on the red carpet.

Tate had a lot of fun with her closest friends, including fellow singer Olivia Rodrigo. The two artists have been friends for a long time, as they recently went on vacation together. Tate was also accompanied by her boyfriend The Kid LAROI. 

The couple posed for photos inside the event and were seen with Olivia and her romantic partner Louis Patridge, who walked the red carpet separately at the exclusive event.

Tate's friendship with Olivia:

“We're just friends who like to sing,” Tate told Us Weekly during one of her latest interviews. “We're all supporting each other and want to go to each other's concerts and want to listen to each other's music.” She explained.

“There's not much beef outside of that. I think people try to make up things that are never true and we just think it's hilarious.” Fans of the pair wondered about their interactions and Tate decided to set the record straight.

“I love Olivia. I love all my girlfriends,” Tate said, explaining that fans “think way harder into things than we do” and try to read into any interaction between the pair.
