Demi has found commercial success in many of her films, which are internationally recognized blockbusters. Perhaps her most iconic role was Molly Jensen in Ghost, which became a massive box office hit, grossing over $505 million worldwide.

Demi Moore made her comeback with 'The Substance':

Demi is undeniably recognized across the world for her four-decade career. However, she has yet to be recognized for her talent, and following her incredible performance in 'The Substance' alongside Margaret Qualley,' a body horror film directed by Coralie Fargeat.

This could be her chance to receive the acknowledgment and appreciation she deserves, as 'The Substance' required Demi to show a vulnerable side, tackling the exploration of themes such as aging, self-perception, and societal pressures on women.

Demi has reflected on the film's relevance to contemporary beauty standards and the challenges women face in the entertainment industry, apart from emphasizing the importance of self-acceptance and the dangers of striving for unattainable ideals.

She has also discussed the film's narrative, focusing on the character's journey and the ethical dilemmas presented. She expressed her enthusiasm for taking on a role that diverged from her previous work, showcasing her versatility as an actress.

Celebrating her four-decade career in the industry:

“Thirty years ago, I had a producer tell me that I was a ‘popcorn actress,’” Moore said. “And at that time, I made that mean that this wasn’t something that I was allowed to have. That could do movies that were successful that made a lot of money, but that I couldn’t be acknowledged," Demi said at the Golden Globes during an emotional speech, looking back on her career.

"I bought in and I believed that. And that corroded me over time to the point where I thought, a few years ago, that maybe this was it. Maybe I was complete. Maybe I’ve done what I was supposed to do," she said, accepting the recognition for her performance in the film.
