Nearly a year after some super observant fans spotted Mounjaro in his fridge, Scott Disick has finally come clean about using the weight-loss medication. It all started last May when he had Khloé Kardashian and Kris Jenner over. While showing off his new healthy lifestyle, which included low-calorie drinks, fans noticed the antidiabetic medication sitting in his butter compartment.
This prescription, known for helping with weight loss, immediately caught the attention of fans and sparked many questions about his transformation journey.
Fast-forward to March 2024, when Scott's noticeably thinner appearance raised some eyebrows. Out and about in Los Angeles, he looked a bit gaunt and pale during a casual outing with Universal Music Group employee Sarah Bauer. Then, in June 2024, he let the cat out of the bag, admitting that before turning to weight loss medication, he was eating an entire bag of Hawaiian rolls and downing 20 ginger ales a day.
Celebrity Banter and Honest Admissions
Things got even juicier during the latest episode of "The Kardashians." Khloé Kardashian called Scott via FaceTime to spill the tea on what the cameras had caught. Scott wasn't holding back when he replied,
"It shows the Mounjaro? You're lying!"
He quickly added, "Oh, f–k me running. By the way, I am not embarrassed that I took it!"
Scott, known for his candid nature, admitted it was "tough" being so "large." Not one to miss a beat, Khloé shot back with: "You shouldn't be [embarrassed]! When I was fat, I would have drank that s–t. I don't get the shame in it. You don't get it because you don't have these problems, but when I was thicker, I took laxatives. I would take anything that anyone was pushing."
Scott's past indulgent habits
Reflecting on his past eating habits, Scott admitted that his nightly ritual of consuming a whole box of Hawaiian rolls was a key contributor to his weight gain. “I had no idea how horrible it was,” Scott confessed on the June 6, 2024 episode of “The Kardashians.”
“All day, I would drink gingers,” the 41-year-old revealed. “I was going through 20 gingers a day.”
Scott’s transformation is also for his family. As a father to Mason, Penelope, and Reign, whom he shares with ex Kourtney Kardashian.
What Khloé Kardashian Thinks of Semaglutide
Semaglutide has been a topic of discussion this year, with many online users wondering about the impact of Ozempic in the lives of celebrities and A-List stars. Some celebrities keep their health and fitness journeys private. However, others openly discuss these topics, either confirming or denying rumors about their body changes.
""Let's not discredit my years of working out. I get up 5 days a week at 6 am to train. Please stop with your assumptions. I guess new year still means mean people," Kardashian said on Instagram.
The reality star told Bustle she decided to focus on her fitness journey and stopped going to therapy. "My weight loss journey started because I was getting a divorce. I stopped going to therapy and started going to the gym," she said. "When I was bigger, I thought I was the hottest thing in the world. I had so much more confidence. And then when I lost weight, people were like, How dare you!"
She discussed also Ozempic during her interview. "Even if people get surgery or [get on] the Ozempic craze, I'm like, "Who cares!" As long as people feel good about themselves, who am I to judge? I think it's ridiculous, the judgment on that. I'm just mad [Ozempic] wasn't around 10 years ago."'
