Wilmer Valderrama and his fiancée Amanda Pacheco are celebrating a new life chapter. The happy couple shared their excitement with the world, opening up about how thrilled they are to be expecting their second baby and detailing the moment they found out they would be expanding their family.
The couple talked to People about this new stage in their lives and what their 4-year-old daughter Nakano Oceana thinks about becoming a "big sister." "She’s been manifesting this for months before I found out I was even pregnant!" Amanda told the publication.
"We still don’t know the gender of the baby, but if it was up to her, she’d love to have a baby sister," she added. Wilmer talked about what it means to him to be a father. "Personally, being a girl dad has been the most fulfilling feeling. As an artist, it has also fueled me to make sure she has so many stories in which she sees herself as the hero of her journey! All in all, I was born to be a dad!"
Meanwhile, Amanda says this has been "the most spontaneous adventure" of her life. "Every day is quite literally a new experience for not just Nakano but myself too. Nakano has made me love being a mom and I wouldn’t want it any other way," she stated.
Wilmer says he looks forward "to laughs and memories" after welcoming their new baby, sharing what he thinks the future will look like for the happy family: "More unicorn birthdays, more toys on the floor, to finish two half eaten burritos because that would make one whole one, hearing 'Hola papá' twice when I walk in the door and giving our parents more babysitting hours because that’s is the grandparent life!"
In January 2020, after about a year of dating, Wilmer proposed to Amanda. He popped the question during a romantic getaway, and the engagement was shared with fans through a heartwarming Instagram post. Wilmer expressed his excitement and love, writing, "The one. I love you always and forever." Amanda, too, expressed her joy, and the two began planning for their future together.
