Kelly Ripa is celebrating her baby's birthday. In a new post shared on social media, Ripa celebrated Joaquin Consuelos' 22nd birthday, sharing some of her son's sweetest moments over the years.
Ripa celebrated her son's birthday with a video shared on Instagram. Set to Aretha Franklin's "I Say A Little Prayer," the clip is made up of dozens of photos and videos of Joaquin over the years, beginning with some of the first footage ever captured of him.
The video shows a newborn Joaquin being admired by his elder siblings, Lola and Michael. More videos show the three children playing and having fun, often joined by their parents on family vacations, birthdays, and all manner of celebrations.
The video concludes with present footage, showing Joaquin in his University of Michigan wrestling uniform. "Happy 22nd Birthday to our newborn! We love you Joaquin," Ripa captioned the post.
More details about Joaquin
Joaquin is the youngest son of Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, and while he prefers to lead a private life, having few updates on his social media, he's an athlete and an actor. Michael is 27, and Lola is 23.
In an interview with Michigan University's athletics publication, Joaquin shared that wrestling is what he wants to pursue, at least at this point in his career. "As far as studying theater, I think it started with wrestling, and then the theater side was second," he said.
In the past, Ripa revealed that Joaquin is a talented actor and would love to see him continue to explore his passions. "He literally fills me with joy because he's such a good actor and he's got that thing. He's got it," she said to Access Hollywood.
"He reminds me of watching Mark when Mark was that age. That's what I see when I look at him."
