Shiloh Jolie is all about keeping things low-key. The 17-year-old was recently spotted leaving a dance class, dressed for comfort in a black hoodie featuring a "Scarface" graphic paired with oversized gray sweatpants. The relaxed look matches her overall vibe: casual, effortless, and totally unbothered by the Hollywood spotlight.
Despite being born into one of the most famous families in the world, Shiloh has no interest in celebrity life. Angelina Jolie confirmed this while speaking at a panel at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
"They really don't like any of the celebrity part of it, especially Shiloh hates it," Jolie shared, per The Daily Mail. "It's not a normal thing. It's a silly thing, really."
Jolie also made it clear that her kids' views on fame weren't shaped by her own opinions. In fact, she had always hoped they would enjoy being around film sets and creative spaces.
"That's not my doing," she said. "I always wanted them to be around film because… it's such a wonderful family, to be creative, to be an artist. They're not interested."
Shiloh's Interests Are Elsewhere
While her siblings have dipped their toes into the entertainment world—Zahara is involved in activism, and Vivienne worked alongside her mom on "The Outsiders" musical—Shiloh seems to prefer staying behind the scenes. Over the years, she's shown a passion for dance, frequently taking classes and impressing fans with her moves in viral TikTok clips.
For now, it looks like Shiloh is happy doing her own thing, far from the flashing cameras and red carpets.
Dropping Brad Pitt's Famous Last Name
In 2024, Shiloh Jolie dropped Pitt legally. The 18-year-old daughter of Brad Pitt has successfully dropped his famous last name, per TMZ. Shiloh began making legal requests three days after their 18th birthday. After placing an ad in the newspaper, a judge granted the request without a formal hearing.
After Shiloh's request appeared in The Los Angeles Times, her lawyer told Page Six that it was a legal notice since California law requires it. “Shiloh Jolie did not take out an ‘ad’ announcing any name change, and any press reporting that is inaccurate,” said Peter Levine, adding that Shiloh “made an independent and significant decision following painful events.”
“As Shiloh’s attorney, I am required to publish a legal notice because the law in California requires that of anyone who wants to change their name. That legal notice was published in the Los Angeles Times, as is required," he concluded.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were embroiled in a complex and protracted divorce process for nearly eight years. In December 2024, they officially finalized their divorce, concluding an extended legal process that began when Jolie filed to end their two-year marriage in September 2016. According to Jolie's legal team, the former couple signed off on the settlement on Monday, December 30.
Jolie’s attorney, James Simon, shared a statement with PEOPLE, emphasizing the lengthy proceedings. “More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time, she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family,” Simon stated.
“This is just one part of a long, ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over," he added. A source close to Jolie echoed this sentiment: "She doesn’t speak ill of [Pitt] publicly or privately. She’s been trying hard to be light after a dark time.”
Even though Pitt and Jolie were officially regarded as single in 2019 after a bifurcation of their divorce, lingering matters related to custody and shared assets delayed the final resolution of their settlement.
