Denise Richards reveals her one rule for daughter Sami Sheen's OnlyFans page

Denise Richards comments on daughter Sami Sheen's OnlyFans

Denise Richards has opened up about her one rule for her daughter when it comes to her OnlyFans account.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum joined the adult platform alongside her eldest daughter, but even though they both have accounts, she revealed that they both have one strict boundary: No looking at one another’s content.

“No, that would be weird,” her daughter Sami Sheen, 20, told PEOPLE in an interview published Feb. 20. Denise echoed that same sentiment, adding, “Yes, we draw a line there.”

While the mother-daughter duo has that strict boundary, that doesn't keep them from bonding over their shared experience. In fact, Denise—who shares daughters Sami and Lola, 19, with ex Charlie Sheen, as well as daughter Eloise, 13, with husband Aaron Phypers—ended up joining OnlyFans as a way to support Sami in the midst of a ton of online criticism.

“When I saw that Sami was getting so much backlash, it really upset me as a mom and also as a woman in this [entertainment] business,” she told the outlet. “To be perceived as a sex symbol after doing photoshoots [for my movies]—and people can have their opinion about that—it bothered me that she was getting backlash for owning her sexuality and being a woman doing what she wanted to do. That’s why I joined it.”

As for why Sami chose to start creating NSFW content on the platform when she was 18, she admitted that it was for the money.

“I really wanted to get an apartment and I knew that working at the candy shop I was working at wasn't going to cut it,” she said. “So I went to the next best thing and made an OnlyFans.”

She continued, “It opened so many doors for me and I’ve met really cool people doing it. It’s been really nice and rewarding being my own boss and making my own hours and being able to do the things I’ve always wanted to do.”

Though this shared experience is definitely something that bonds her with her mom, Sami did admit that she isn’t thrilled with how quickly the actress copied her entrepreneurial spirit.

“I wish she’d waited a little bit,” she told the mad. “She started it right after I did, but it doesn’t bother me at all.”
