Kevin Costner is ready to move on. According to new reports, the 70-year-old actor is looking for a new partner following his divorce from Christine Baumgartner, his wife of 19 years.
According to insiders, Costner has been set up with different women by his closest advisors and friends. "Kevin's been having his agent set him up with women," said the source to Parade. The outlet claimed that Costner began looking for a partner last spring.
Earlier this year, a source spoke to US Weekly and claimed that Costner wasn't interested in dating actresses and famous women.
"Kevin doesn’t like dating Hollywood actresses and Hollywood people. He likes a more average woman,” said the source, corroborating that “he has people trying to set him up.”
Still, it appears like Costner is taking it easy and is open to new experiences as well as balancing a busy work schedule and parenting his kids. "2025 is all about figuring out his projects and carving out time for his personal life. He wants to get out more and maybe meet the right person. He feels optimistic," concluded the source.
More details about Costner and Baumgartner's split
Costner and Baumgartner finalized their divorce in February of 2024. The pair share three kids, Cayden, 17, Hayes, 16, and Grace, 14, and were involved in a long and complex divorce that involved child support payments, and debating the terms of their prenup.
"It feels so bad," said Costner to Access Hollywood during court meetings. "We're talking about somebody I love on the other side."
Costner is also the father of three kids from previous relationships: Annie, 40, Lily, 38, Joe, 37, and Liam, 28.
In January of this year, Baumgartner shared the news of her engagement to Josh Connor, a financier. The pair got engaged on the beach and have the support of their closest friends and family, reports PEOPLE.
"They are both over the moon and excited for their future together," said a source to the outlet.
