Shakira's homecoming in Barranquilla: An exciting return with Milan and Sasha

Shakira has landed in her hometown of Barranquilla, and the excitement is contagious. Accompanied by her children, Milan and Sasha, her brother Tonino, and her tour staff, the Colombian global sensation arrived on Wednesday morning, ready to put the final touches on her upcoming shows at Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez. 

According to local news portals, when asked about her feelings, she said, "I'm happy to be in my homeland. I'm going to give everything I have the best of me."

Landing in style with her sons

Shakira landed on a private plane with her two sons, Milan and Sasha, all dressed in white. A video from Univision's entertainment program, "El Gordo y la Flaca," shows the trio stepping off the plane onto Colombian soil, all smiles and effortless style. Shakira took some time to greet the camera with a big smile.

Since February 13, over 2,000 people have been busy setting up a stage that matches Shakira's larger-than-life energy. With a structure that is 60 meters wide and 12 meters high, every detail is getting a lot of love. The setup is part of what makes her "Las Mujeres ya No LLoran" tour so special, ensuring that both the performance and the experience will be unforgettable.

Family, recovery, and good vibes  

The return to Barranquilla is more than just a musical event. After dealing with some health issues that forced her to cancel a show in Peru, Shakira is back in great shape. She also shared some warm family news, letting everyone know that her dad just got out of the hospital and is doing well. This mix of personal triumph and professional comeback makes her story even more relatable and inspiring.

The tour's setlist includes songs such as "La Fuerte," "Girl Like Me," "Te Felicito / TQG," "Acróstico," Hips Don't Lie," "Loca," Waka Waka," "She Wolf," "Session #53," and many more.

Shakira will also be serving looks! After kicking off the show in a dazzling custom white and silver Versace ensemble, as she belted out "La Fuerte," she cycled through 12 different outfits, each more breathtaking than the last. Zuhair Murad, Gaurav Gupta, and Jawara Alleyne all had their designs on display, perfectly complementing her signature mix of sensuality, power, and effortlessly cool.

Before diving into the concert preparations, Shakira took a moment to express her gratitude. She told her fans, "I love you so much, I'm happy to be here, thank you so much for all your support."
