Pedro Pascal has a new SNL character. The Chilean actor is an SNL favorite, having only a few appearances on the show yet leaving his mark in the form of various epic and viral skits.
This past weekend, he returned for "SNL50" and joined the crazy viral Domingo skit alongside Marcello Hernandez, Sabrina Carpenter, and Bad Bunny.
In a new Instagram post, Pascal shared a behind-the-scenes photo of the hilarious skit, showing him having a good time alongside Carpenter and Hernandez.
"Bingo, Domingo!" he captioned the post, which showed him with his tongue for the camera as he held on to Hernandez and Carpenter.
Carpenter and Hernandez had previously parodied the Domingo skit in one of her concerts. There was a segment of her show where she "arrested" someone from the audience, surprising concert-goers when she spotlighted Hernandez in his full Domingo outfit and beard.
"I had never imagined that it could be that crazy," said Hernandez of the audience's reaction to the skit on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."
He also revealed he and Carpenter had shared a photo together on Instagram, prompting a hilarious response from his aunts. "I put that picture up with Sabrina and then one of my aunts was like, 'And why have we not met her?'" he said.
Pascal's inclusion in the Domingo universe
Pascal's appearance in the skit reveals him as Domingo's older brother, Ronaldo, who appears to have had an affair with the groom in a wedding celebration, played by Andrew Dismukes.
Bad Bunny was the last-minute addition to the group, calling himself the "hot brother." He, Hernandez, and Pascal had starred in a viral skit together in the past, with Bad Bunny and Pascal playing Hernandez's protective aunt and mother.
