Marc Anthony may be a global salsa sensation, but he’s just a dad who loves his kids. While he’s pretty private about family life, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t show up in the sweetest and most generous ways. Case in point: Marc recently bought his son Ryan Muñiz his first car, and the story behind it is heartwarming.
Marc and Ryan kept the whole thing low-key, so this could’ve flown completely under the radar. But thanks to an enthusiastic Miami car dealership employee, we got a peek at the special father-son moment. Arian Ramirez, who works at the dealership, couldn’t help but share his excitement on Instagram. “Thank you, God, for giving me the opportunity to help with the purchase of the great @marcanthony’s son’s first car. Hard work does pay off. Blessings,” he wrote, alongside a photo of himself with Marc and Ryan, all smiles next to Ryan’s brand-new ride.
And because the internet never misses a detail, fans quickly spotted that the car appears to be a sleek white Toyota Camry HEV, complete with a big red bow—because what’s a new car without a giant bow on top? In a short video Arian posted, Marc can be seen hugging and playfully tickling Ryan, which makes the whole thing even sweeter.
Now, it’s not clear what the occasion was, as Ryan’s birthday was back in August, and graduation season is months away. But it seems Marc doesn’t need a reason to spoil his kids.
Like his older brother Cristián, Ryan tends to keep things private on social media. The 21-year-old moved from Santa Barbara to New York to study music engineering, a passion he’s balancing with a bit of modeling. It seems talent runs in the family.
Of course, Ryan’s mom, Dayanara Torres, former Miss Universe, never misses a chance to gush about her son. On his 21st birthday, she shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, calling him her “beautiful little Ken doll” (cue the tears). “Watching you grow up, becoming the sweet and caring young man that you are, and seeing you dedicate so much passion to all your talents and your studies fills me with so much pride!” she wrote, along with a touching video montage of mother-son moments.
It’s clear Ryan has a strong support system. With parents like Marc and Dayanara cheering him on, he’s bound to keep making them proud, whether behind the wheel of his shiny new car or chasing his dreams in the studio.
Happy and safe driving, Ryan!
