George Lopez had social media buzzing after his recent appearance on "The Jennifer Hudson Show," and not just because of his jokes. The 63-year-old comedian strutted down a hallway backstage, showing off his dance moves in a playful clip shared on the show's Instagram account.
Surrounded by staff members singing the theme song to his classic sitcom "George Lopez," he flashed a big smile, blew a kiss, and sent his love to the camera. But fans? They were way too distracted by his new look to focus on anything else.

Sporting long gray hair and a scruffy beard, Lopez's transformation had people doing double takes. The internet wasted no time chiming in, with some calling him a "caveman," and a few even saying he looked like Albert Einstein. One user joked, "Someone said, 'I bet you can't be Mexican and look like Karl Marx.' And George said, 'Hold my beer.'" Another quipped, "George Lopez now George of the Jungle."
While some fans were shook by how much he's changed, plenty still showed him love, with one person writing, "We love you still, George. We just didn't know you was that old."

The comedy legend might look a little different these days, but he's still got that signature humor that made us all fans in the first place.
George Lopez Spills the Beans on His Hair
In a 2024 interview with HOLA! USA, Lopez shared how he takes care of his hair. "Stop dyeing it, gentleman in your 60s," he suggested. "I would buy the Ronald McDonald, and I started to look at the pictures, and they would be faint. I said, 'Is that orange? Is that burnt orange? Is that magenta in my hair?' And I stopped dying it, but I’m also very vain, so I was having a really hard time. Because you see me in the morning, I’m 42 on the first show, you see me here, I’m 62. So they’d be like, 'Man, you got old.' I said, 'When did you see me?' 'I saw you this morning.' It’s like, 'Bro, dude, people get old.' People don’t want to see me get old. They don’t want to see me get old," he said at the time.

I mean, it’s part of it, especially doing stand-up, this hair hits the lights, hatching like a Christmas tree with all the tinsel, so all these flares go out. I was like, 'You know what? I’m just going to embrace it.' As I’ve said, 'I’m never cutting it again.' So I’m going to be mas Indio by September. It looks longer today than it did yesterday. Somebody said that this was longer. They go, 'I don’t know, man. Your hair’s longer today.' Yeah. And I actually enjoy the attention, I like it a lot."
