Michelle and Barack Obama continue to strengthen their relationship. The pair spent Valentine's Day together and seemingly shut down divorce rumors, as they have decided to keep their personal lives private in recent months.
The former First Lady took to social media to share a sweet tribute during the special day. Michelle was all smiles posing next to Barack during what seemed to be a romantic date in a tropical setting. "Thirty-two years together and you still take my breath away. Happy Valentine's Day, Michelle Obama!"
"If there's one person I can always count on, it's you, @BarackObama. You're my rock. Always have been. Always will be. Happy Valentine's Day, honey!" Michelle wrote on Twitter/X. "You're my rock," she continued."Always have been. Always will be. Happy Valentine's Day, honey!"
Meanwhile, Barack shared the same photo and wrote, "Thirty-two years together and you still take my breath away. Happy Valentine's Day, Michelle Obama!"
The couple has been open about their love, appreciation, and support for each other, with Barack describing Michelle as "the rock of our family" during one of his speeches.
“We’ve been together long enough to know that what gets us through is a deep sense of mutual respect and admiration for each other," Michelle wrote in her 2018 memoir 'Becoming.' Over the years, both Michelle and Barack Obama have often spoken about the importance of family values and raising their daughters with integrity, kindness, and work ethic.
In recent months, Michelle and Barack have been relatively less visible in the spotlight compared to their time in the White House and shortly after. They have been more focused on their private lives and long-term projects.
Despite the absence, they have made it clear that they are still having a good romantic relationship. Most recently, Barack shared a birthday tribute for Michelle. "Happy birthday to the love of my life, @MichelleObama," he wrote, sharing a photo of them enjoying dinner.
