More details about Joaquin's family
Joaquin is the youngest son of Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos. He has two siblings: Michael, 27, and Lola, 23.
While he tends to keep details of his life private, Joaquin is hoping to follow in his parents' footsteps and is majoring in theater performance. In an interview with Michigan University's athletics publication, Joaquin revealed that wrestling has long been a center of focus in his life.
"As far as studying theater, I think it started with wrestling, and then the theater side was second. My wrestling coach in middle school, Jeff Marsh, also went to Michigan. So, I was automatically pushed in that direction a little bit," he said.
Ripa has discussed Joaquin's acting skills in the past. "He literally fills me with joy because he's such a good actor and he's got that thing. He's got it," said Ripa to Access Hollywood.
"He reminds me of watching Mark when Mark was that age. That's what I see when I look at him."
