Barron Trump has had multiple viral moments during 2024 and at the start of 2025, not only for his appearance at the presidential inauguration but also after a series of clips from his childhood surfaced online. The 18-year-old son of Donald and Melania Trump has a close relationship with his parents, and his mom has been open about how proud she is of Barron.
© The Washington PostHis latest viral clip gave a glimpse at his Slovenian accent when he was a child, which many believe he is fluent in, as it is Melania's native language. Melania and Donald briefly talked about Barron during an interview with Larry King in 2012, when he was just 4 years old.
© SAUL LOEBThe two proud parents shared that Barron spoke three languages at the time. "He speaks three languages, actually," she said in the interview. Fast forward to 2016, Melania said to People that Barrok spoke Slovenian with his grandmother.
"My opinion is that the more languages you speak, better it is," she said to the publication, adding, "but when you come to America, you speak English." However, she did not mention the third language that her son spoke.

Jordan said during an interview with CBS: "Barron Trump speaks Slovenian, is very close to the father. Both her parents spend huge amount of times in the White House, living there. There's a unit within the family unit, and it's Melania, her mother, her father, and Barron. And they all speak Slovenian."
