The Super Bowl is underway, determining the fate of an exciting football season. And while the game is very exciting, there's also a lot of exciting and historic things that are taking place off-field, including a Presidential appearance, the debut of one of football's most important athletes as a commentator, and much more.
Scroll down to see some of the biggest off-field moments in this Super Bowl 2025:
Donald Trump is in attendance in the stands
President Donald Trump is in attendance at this year's Super Bowl. This marks the first occasion when a US sitting President has attended the Super Bowl.
In 2002, former President George H. W. Bush attended the Super Bowl to perform the ceremonial coin toss. Vice Presidents have also attended the Super Bowl, including Mike Pence, who attended the 2017 Super Bowl following Trump's first inauguration.
Trump was accompanied by his daughter, Ivanka Trump.
Tom Brady's debut as a commentator
Tom Brady, one of the biggest Super Bowl legends, is making his Super Bowl debut as one of Fox's commentators.
Brady acknowledged the pressure of the moment, revealing that he was prepared as best as possible for the historic occasion. "I've spent a lot of time studying film and reading information packets to be as prepared as possible," he said, according to EFE.
"As a player, you prepare for one side of the field; as a commentator, you have to prepare for both offenses and defenses. I can't even cover everything I've prepared."
Taylor Swift supports Travis Kelce with her jewelry
Taylor Swift was seen in attendance at the Super Bowl, sitting in the stands alongside Ice Spice, with whom she attended last year's Super Bowl. Photographers captured a necklace with the letter "T" on it, which she wore earlier this month at the Grammys.
Bradley Cooper introduces the Eagles
Philadelphia Eagles superfan Bradley Cooper surprised the audience by introducing his team. "All right, from the City of Brotherly Love, your 2024 NFC Champions the E-A-G-L-E-S, Eagles!," he said on the field.
