Tom Brady captured in first public sighting alongside Lady Gaga since Gisele Bündchen welcomed her baby

Tom Brady made a surprise appearance on Bourbon Street, marking his first public sighting since his ex, Gisele Bündchen, welcomed her new baby boy. Tom was standing among sports legends like Jerry Jones, Terry Bradshaw, Michael Strahan, Howie Long, and Jimmy Johnson. They were all seen alongside a heavy law enforcement and local government presence, busy filming a special segment that pays tribute to the tragic events that unfolded on Bourbon Street on New Year’s morning. 

The former athletes surrounded Lady Gaga, who was on stage delivering a live performance ahead of Super Bowl LIX. The performance mixed music, sports, and a heartfelt homage to all the victims.

Brady, who was wearing an LAFD gray shirt, appeared to be engaged in the activity even when, hours prior, Bündchen officially became a mom for the third time. At 44, the supermodel welcomed her baby boy with boyfriend Joaquim Valente, marking her first child with him.

If you’ve followed her journey, you know she has a sweet tradition of giving her kids water-inspired middle names. Her daughter Vivian Lake, who’s 12, and her son Benjamin Rein both sport names that evoke a natural vibe, and now her new little one carries the middle name River. According to People, Gisele is keeping his first name under wraps for now.

On one hand, Brady is back in the spotlight, participating in a tribute segment on Bourbon Street that blends his sports legacy with a community-driven remembrance. On the other, Gisele is embracing a fresh start in motherhood while keeping her signature nature-inspired style alive.

The former husband of Bündchen and father of two of her kids has reportedly reached out to the model. Page Six informed that Brady has reacted positively to Bündchen's new journey. The outlet's source, reportedly close to Brady, revealed that Bündchen's former partner was happy for her and wished her "nothing but the best." A separate source said that Brady had reached out to Bündchen to congratulate her. 

Bündchen and Brady got married in 2009, separated, and finalized their divorce in 2022. They share two kids: Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 12. Brady is also the father of Jack, 17, whom he shares with Bridget Moynahan.

After her divorce from Brady, Bündchen and Valente were first linked together in 2022. It wasn't until 2024 that the relationship became public. "They started out as great friends first. She’s very private about this and wanted to keep it quiet while they got to know each other," said a source to PEOPLE. “He was a huge comfort for Gisele while she went through her divorce. Their friendship turned romantic after the divorce.”
