Tom Brady has reacted to the news of Gisele Bündchen & Joaquim Valente’s first baby. The former husband of Bündchen and father of two of her kids has reportedly reached out to the model.
Page Six reports that Brady has had a positive reaction to Bündchen's birth. The outlet spoke to a source close to Brady, who said revealed that Bündchen's former partner was happy for her and wished her "nothing but the best."
A separate source said that Brady had reached out to Bündchen to give her his congratulations.
Bündchen and Brady were together for years, marrying in 2009. They separated and finalized their divorce in 2022, and share two kids: Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 12. Brady is also the father of Jack, 17, whom he shares with his former partner Bridget Moynahan.
More details about Gisele's birth
TMZ broke the news of Bündchen's birth. The outlet didn't share the exact date of the birth of the child, only revealing that the birth had taken place recently.
The sex of the baby has yet to be revealed and was a surprise for the couple, who preferred to wait until the birth to know. This is something that Bündchen has done in the past, with her never knowing the sex of their children until their birth.
Bündchen and Valente were first linked together in 2022, following her divorce from Brady. The pair have been spotted vacationing together frequently, with them visiting Costa Rica whenever they get the chance.
It wasn't until 2024 that the relationship became romantic, and the two confirmed their relationship with the public. "They started out as great friends first. She’s very private about this and wanted to keep it quiet while they got to know each other," said a source to PEOPLE.
“He was a huge comfort for Gisele while she went through her divorce. Their friendship turned romantic after the divorce.”
