Meghan Markle is doing everything she can to help victims of the LA fire. After spending time with Altadena Girls and volunteering with her husband, Prince Harry, at the World Central Kitchen, she made it her personal mission to help a young girl who lost a prized possession after the Altadena fire destroyed her home.

Taking to her new Instagram, where she already has 1.6M followers, Markle was excited after receiving a very special delivery.  “About two or three weeks ago, when my husband and I were in Altadena, we went to a community where all the homes were left in ashes," she explained.

While there, Markle met a woman and her 15-year-old daughter whose home had been completely destroyed in the fire. The mom began to explain how the first thing the teen was looking for was a t-shirt from the Billie Eilish concert she had just attended. "She had left it in the washing machine or the dryer, and of course, they now see their home, and the washing machine and dryer are ash. They’re not there anymore," Markle said.

Determined to help, Markle, who recently requested to delay her new project, promised the young girl that she would find a way to replace the shirt, “So I said, ‘Well, I don’t know Billie Eilish, but I’m going to figure out how to get you this shirt," she said.

With determination, Markle thought of her famous network. “I thought of everybody I knew, and I made a voice note, asking, ‘Please, can someone get this voice note to Billie Eilish?'" Markle shared.

Their sweet persistence paid off when Eilish responded with not just a t-shirt but a generous package of signed merchandise. “You guys, I don’t even know what all this stuff means, but it’s signed for her!” she said, quipping, “This is when I feel really old.”

In the emotional video, Meghan expressed her gratitude to everyone who helped make this moment possible. “Huge thank you, Billie Eilish. This is going to mean so much to her. And honestly, to Adam Levine and Behati [Prinsloo], you guys helped get this over the line,” Markle said.

The Los Angeles native went on to thank, “everyone who’s showing up for people in big and small ways to get through what’s happened in California, just thank you so much.”

She signed off by saying she would email the girl's mom to share the good news.
