Millie Bobby Brown is embracing change as she closes one of the largest chapters of her career. Late last year, Brown concluded production on the fifth and last season of "Stranger Things." She was recently photographed in London sporting a blonde hairstyle, marking a significant departure from her usual look.
Brown was photographed with her husband Jake Bongiovi. They were spotted leaving the private club Maison Estelle, located in Mayfair, one of the most exclusive areas of London. Brown wore an all-black outfit made up of a dress with a sequined top that she paired with matching accessories, including heels and a clutch purse.
She was wearing a new hairstyle, which she'd previously teased in a post on Instagram. The post shows various images of her hairstyle, with her wearing a black dress that allowed the hair to look even lighter and shinier. The first image has some filters on, giving it a Y2K edge, with various PC notifications of the era.
Brown's hair is a platinum blonde, falling under her shoulders. While she's previously worn blonde hairstyles in the past, this appears to be her boldest look yet, with her hair dyed a brighter shade of blonde.
Bongiovi wore a black polo shirt, jeans, and some blue sneakers.
Is the hairstyle teasing a new role?
While the hairstyle could simply represent a change of look, many fans are theorizing that Brown might be teasing an upcoming project, including a highly anticipated Britney Spears biopic.
Various fans left comments on her Instagram post. "BRITNEY???" one wrote.
"BRITNEY IS COMING," wrote a second person.
Last year, it was confirmed that a Spears biopic was in development, with Universal acquiring the rights to her memoir, "The Woman In Me." The director of "Wicked," Jon M. Chu will be directing the film.
While fans are very excited and hope to see Brown take on the role of Spears, it seems like the film will be released in a few years. “So I want to do her justice and tell her story right. But we’ll see. We’re developing it now and it’s a long road ahead,” said Chu in an interview with Billboard.
