Paris Hilton is opening up about one of the most "heartbreaking moments" of her life. The heiress and reality star, who lost her home during the devastating Los Angeles fires, documented a wholesome moment after helping save Zuzu, an adorable dog that spent some time with her before she reunited with her family.
Paris took to social media to highlight the importance of fostering pets, days after the destruction caused by the fires. “Letting go is never easy, but moments like this remind me why fostering is so important," the businesswoman wrote on Instagram sharing photos with Zuzu's family, who also lost their home in the fires.
“Zuzu came into my life during one of the most heartbreaking times, and she was truly a beacon of hope. Saying goodbye to her was so hard, but seeing her family’s faces when they arrived to bring her home made it all worth it," Paris revealed, adding that the "love between Zuzu and her family is so special."
"I’m so happy they’re reunited after everything they’ve been through," Pair wrote, sharing her appreciation for the work made by the Pasadena Humane Society and revealing she “can’t wait to foster again.”
She shared a video where the family can be seen reuniting with Zuzu. “You helped save her,” the mother said to Paris, adding, “Just making my son’s whole week that he gets to have his dog back!”
“I love her so much. She’s such a little angel,” Paris said about the dog. “I really really appreciate it,” the mother said. “My other son is excited to see her.” The reality star had a surprise for the family who lost their home.
“Oh my god! What Paris?! That’s amazing,” the mother said after Paris gave them the gifts she had for them. “Oh my gosh, I don’t know what to say. Thank you. Thank you so so much.”
