Pamela Anderson and Miley Cyrus had a heartfelt conversation while promoting their latest movie 'The Last Showgirl.' The actress and the singer talked about their admiration for each other during an interview, as Miley was nominated for a Golden Globe for her original song 'Beautiful That Way.'
"Ever since I was little, it was only Pam when people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grow up, I would say you," Miley revealed, explaining that she idolized Pamela. "And the whole thing. The tattoos, the hair, all of it. That’s all I wanted to do, I wanted to be a showgirl!”
Miley explained that as time passed she was even more inspired by the actress. "I love watching you evolve because it's been inspiring me so much," she said during the conversation, looking back at the special moment when she saw Pamela on Broadway as Roxie Heart.
Miley also talked about her many life chapters, admitting that she would not change anything. “I’ve had so many different pivots and evolutions and—one might say—detours within my path,” she explained. “But it always ends up coming back around to make the next stage of who we are. Something that’s more potent, something that’s more real.”
She continued, adding that she only regrets some of the things she wore, but it's not the outfits people would immediately assume. “Funnily enough when I look back, all the mistakes, anything I was unsure of or I didn’t understand, I am so proud of every moment and now every stage of my life,” Cyrus reflected. “I would not go back and change anything. Except a couple things I was wearing!”
While Pamela once wished she could erase all the negative experiences from her life, she now says she embraces everything she went through, something to which Miley said she could relate.
