Melania Trump is ready to serve as First Lady of the United States for the second time. After revealing that she was prepared and knew what to expect this time around, during one of her latest interviews with Fox, Melania is now unveiling her first official White House portrait.

Wearing a polished black-and-white look, Melania posed for her portrait wearing a black structured blazer paired with matching high-waist trousers and a white shirt. For the photoshoot, the First Lady wore no jewelry and showed her perfectly manicured nails. The official portrait was captured on January 21, 2024, in the Yellow Oval Room of the residence by the esteemed photographer Régine Mahaux.

Melania styled her hair in loose waves, showing her honey-blonde highlights and looking directly into the camera with a stoic pose. "First Lady Melania Trump’s Official White House Portrait," Melania's team wrote in the First Lady of the United States Instagram account.

The Belgian photographer, who has been the private portraitist of Donald Trump and his family for 16 years, is the creator of some of the most striking images of the First Lady.

In an exclusive interview with ¡HOLA!, Mahaux opened up about her experience photographing Melania and Donald Trump, saying, "I’ve been photographing them since 2008, but it’s not an 'official' role. At that time, Getty Images commissioned me to photograph them. They selected my work from several portfolios that were presented to them. The assignment was to create a family portrait indoors, a 'home' photo. They welcomed me into their home fully, and they were enthusiastic and eager to do the portrait. Since then, I think they’ve trusted me because I have a permanent confidentiality agreement with them, on a personal level. Professionally, I believe they appreciate my European touch. They are familiar with Europe, respect my artistic background, and value my creative spirit. For an artist, that’s a great advantage and a shared pleasure, as it allows you to create stronger, more original images."
