The "Too Little Too Late" hitmaker was nearly unrecognizable

JoJo was spotted turning the streets of New York City into her personal runway on Thursday while promoting her highly anticipated EP, "NGL," set for release on January 24. The 34-year-old singer-songwriter made a stylish appearance, wowing fans with her revamped look and chic outfit.

The "Too Little Too Late" hitmaker was nearly unrecognizable. She debuted a honey-blonde bob with wispy, face-framing bangs that added a fresh edge to her signature style. Complementing her new hairstyle, JoJo rocked a bold red lip that matched her glossy manicure, exuding confidence and sophistication.

Her outfit for the day was equally captivating. A glossy burgundy faux-leather trench coat took center stage. Wide-leg black trousers were peeking out from beneath the coat, adding an understated yet elegant touch. To finish the ensemble, she stepped out in metallic silver heeled boots that shimmered with every step, giving her a futuristic flair.

JoJo, born Joanna Levesque, has been in the spotlight since her breakout single, "Leave (Get Out)," topped the charts in 2004. Over the years, she has continually evolved, both musically and personally. Her memoir, "Over the Influence," released last year, gave fans an glimpse into her journey of growth and resilience.


A New Era

The 34-year-old singer-songwriter, who is based in New York City, debuted on Broadway as Satine in Moulin Rouge, and also wrote a memoir. Now, as a single woman, she is reflecting on her entire life and career. "I've been JoJo now for 20 years," the artist told People

"I had been watching so much Sex in the City, I was living in New York, and I was really just in that bag of feeling empowered," she says. "I was understanding for the first time that I really have to truly love and f--- with myself first. I need to heal. I cannot jump from one thing to the next, like I always have done my whole life. I have to really enjoy this — and I really was enjoying it."
