Earlier this year, Cazzu let her fans know she was all set to drop some new music after her track La Cueva. It looks like her upcoming singles reflect her experiences after her split with Christian Nodal, with whom she has a child. This week, she kept her word and released her first single of the year, Dolce, which gives a nod to her past relationship through a look she rocked with him earlier in 2023.

SEVILLE, SPAIN - NOVEMBER 15: (L-R) Cazzu and Christian Nodal attend the Latin Recording Academy Person of The Year Honoring Laura Pausini at FIBES Conference and Exhibition Centre on November 15, 2023 in Seville, Spain.

Dolce has quickly turned into one of the most talked-about songs of the week, hitting digital platforms this Wednesday afternoon. This track marks The Girl from Argentina's entry into the corridos tumbados genre, with lyrics like: “And I’m going out tonight / To wear that Dolce dress / You know it looks so good on me / The same one I used to win you over.”

Fans immediately picked up on a clear nod to the outfit she wore at the 2023 Latin Grammys, where she made an appearance with her then-partner just two months after welcoming their daughter, Inti. Nodal chose the Dolce & Gabbana dress for Cazzu, which beautifully showcased her curves on the red carpet, along with a chic red handbag and her stunning long, flowing black hair.

Mexican musician Christian Nodal (R) poses with Argentine rapper Cazzu as they arrive for the Person of the Year Award ceremony during the 24th Annual Latin Grammy Awards ceremony at the Conference and Exhibition Centre (FIBES) in Sevilla on November 15, 2023.

At that event, Christian stood beside her as photographers captured moments of the new parents. In her song, Cazzu elaborates: “I believed you, and I don’t offer second chances / I hope that façade lasts for you / Beautiful women, none are real / Like me, who was ready to live and die for you / I doubt you'll find someone like that again / I'm leaving, but before I go, I’ll take my revenge.”

In the music video, Cazzu wears a similar dress, now made of latex. At the start of the clip, she sports a pair of horns—possibly alluding to the infidelity she discovered via social media or Nodal's use of horns in his microphone during performances—unleashing a devilish side with her sensuality, proclaiming that it’s now her time to enjoy life without the horns.
