Selena Gomez's fans have been begging for new music, and considering her husband is producer Benny Blanco, it only seems right that they collaborate again. The singer's last single was "Love On," which debuted in February 2024.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have collaborated on several songs

Last week, Blanco responded to a fan on TikTok who commented, "Please make new songs for our queen," with a video of his soon-to-be wife sitting in their home studio in front of a microphone. "Hii," she said in the clip with a large smile.

Then, on Wednesday, Blanco shared another video of Gomez listening back to some of the audio with an excited look on her face. You can hear some music and vocals playing in the background, but it's too low to actually make out what future bop she can be working on.

As a multifaceted artist, Gomez releases new music sporadically, focusing on her acting career, which has led to 4 Golden Globe nominations. She has been nominated twice as a singer for the GRAMMYS.

We saw her fuse both of these talents with Emila Perez. While the film has had controversy with the director apologizing, Gomez was praised for her performance of "Mi Camino" with Edgar Ramirez and shared the award for Best Actress at Cannes along with her costars Karla Sofia Gascon and Zoe Saldana.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco got engaged a few months ago

It won't be the first time the Murderers in The building star collaborated with Blanco. In 2015, he co-produced "Same Old Love" and "Kill Em With Kindness," and in 2019, he was a co-producer on "I Can't Get Enough," which she collaborated on with J Balvin.

Most recently, he was co-producer on "Single Soon" in 2023, which debuted within the top twenty on the Canadian Hot 100, the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, and the Billboard Global 200. Maybe their next song will win Gomez her first GRAMMY.
