She paired the look with some maroon sunglasses that went perfectly with her dress, and some brown leather gloves.
Paparazzi spotted her as she walked through Aspen and entered Kemo Sabe, one of the most popular stores in the city. She was also photographed on the street and alongside some friends, as they browsed for sweaters and leather goods.
Aspen has long been one of the most popular celebrity hotspots, especially over the winter. The area becomes one of the most popular in the country starting in December, with Carey usually spending most of her winters there.
Carey, a personality that's innately linked to Christmas and winter in the US, is also one of the best-dressed winter celebrities, having some of the world's most stunning coats and boots at her disposal.
Carey has sparked some romance rumors
In late December, Carey was photographed walking the streets of Aspen accompanied by another notorious celebrity. Paparazzi photographed her holding hands with Anderson .Paak, the talented musician and rapper.
While the two looked comfortable with each other and got many fans excited with their link-up, it appears that there is no romance going on. A source revealed to Page Six that the two were collaborating on a song together, and were recording at Carey's music studio in Aspen.
