Suri Cruise is her mom's biggest supporter. Earlier this week, Cruise was photographed attending Katie Holmes' last performance of "Our Town," the Broadway show that she's been performing over the past months.
Cruise was photographed leaving the theater, trying her best to sneak out and avoid the paparazzi. She wore her hair tied up in a bung and was seen wearing a green puffer jacket to shield herself from the cold. She had her nails painted black and was holding onto her phone.
As she's grown up, Cruise shares a great resemblance to her mother, with both women boasting tall frames and long brunette hair.
A video taken by the paparazzi shows Cruise outside of the theater, approaching one of the security men to access the stage. She laughs and smiles at them, showing how acquainted she is with the staff and that she's stopped by on numerous occasions.
Holmes' production of "Our Town" has received rave reviews from critics. Holmes plays the role of Mrs. Webb and stars in the production alongside Jim Parsons, Zoey Deutch, Ephraim Sykes, Julie Halston, Richard Thomas, and Michelle Wilson.
"We're all in it together. It does give that sense that this is all a community. Every single show is a new community," she said in a video shared on the play's social media.
Suri has supported her mother through it all
While Cruise is currently enrolled in her freshman year of college at Carnegie Mellon University, she's traveled to New York several times to spend the holidays with her mother. She's also attended the show various times, surprising her mother on her birthday, where she and the production of "Our Town" surprised Holmes by singing the happy birthday song backstage.
“I am so grateful for all of my blessings," wrote Holmes in an Instagram story showing some flowers she's received from Cruise. "Especially my daughter."
On previous interviews, Holmes has discussed her daughter's age and the exciting things she's taking on during this time. “I remember being this age, this time of beginnings,” she said to Town & Country.
“It’s exciting to learn about yourself, and I loved that time, so it makes me happy to think about it like that.”
