Ivanka Trump honors Audrey Hepburn's 'legacy' with her inaugural ball gown

President Donald Trump's older daughter stunned in a Givenchy gown and Leviev diamond jewelry

The belle of the ball! First daughter Ivanka Trump took style inspiration from fashion icon Audrey Hepburn for the inaugural balls. President Donald Trump's 43-year-old daughter was the picture of elegance on Monday evening, dressed in a Givenchy design. The mom of three wore a recreation of Hubert de Givenchy’s iconic Haute Couture black-and-white gown that was originally designed for Audrey Hepburn in the 1954 film Sabrina

The first daughter swept her blonde tresses up into an updo for the ball on Jan. 20. Ivanka completed her stunning look with a Leviev diamond necklace, coordinating cluster earrings and black opera gloves.

The Women Who Work author turned to another French fashion house for her daytime look on Monday. Ivanka wore a Dior skirt suit inspired by Dior’s Fall 1950 Haute Couture collection. A source told HOLA! USA that Ivanka "chose emerald green as a symbol of renewal and hope — virtues she felt especially meaningful as her father and the country embark on this next chapter in our nation's history."

Hours before her father was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States, Ivanka congratulated her dad with a message on her Instagram Story. "Congratulations to my father on his inauguration as the 47th President of the United States! I'm proud of his determination, resilience and commitment to our country," she penned. "This moment is both historic and humbling. My prayer is for strength, wisdom, and compassion to guide his every decision. May he lead with understanding and an open heart, striving to bring unity where there is division and peace where there is conflict."

Ivanka added, "Let's support one another as Americans, and may God bless and guide my father and us all."
