Katie Holmes is thankful for the time she spent with the cast and crew of "Our Town." The actress and filmmaker shared a post celebrating her friendship with one of her co-stars and the incredible shows that she and her fellow actors and creatives have been putting up since late last year.
In an Instagram post, Holmes shared a photo hugging her co-star Jim Parsons, who plays the show's lead character. The image shows Parsons in costume, wearing a top hat and some suspenders.
Holmes wears a jacket and has her hair tied in a ponytail. She added some heart emojis at the top of the image, sharing her love and excitement for her co-star and the production.
"The final days of Our Town Broadway are upon us," she captioned the post. "I am so grateful for these beautiful souls that continue to bring Thornton’s words to life. I love you Jim Parsons."

"Our Town" is a revival of one of the world's most famous plays. Written by Thornton Wilder and first performed in 1938, the play went on to win the Pulitzer and cement Wilder as one of the best playwrights of all time.
The story follows the life of villagers in New Hampshire in the dawn of the 20th century, as they travel back and forth in time and address the audience. Parsons serves as the stage manager and narrator. Holmes plays the role of Mrs. Webb.
The cast is rounded out by Zoey Deutch, Ephraim Sykes, Julie Halston, Richard Thomas, and Michelle Wilson.
In a video shared on the production's social media, Holmes discussed her joy over her work and what makes this production so special. "We're all in it together. It does give that sense that this is all a community. Every single show is a new community," she said.
