Lauren Sanchez is proud of Jeff Bezos and his latest achievement. The media personality constantly shows her support for the billionaire, and despite a recent disappointment, the couple celebrated a new milestone of Bezos' company Blue Origin.
The businessman took to social media to share an update about the launch of his rocket, New Glenn, which was named in honor of astronaut John Glenn. The rocket was unveiled in 2024 and was scheduled to launch in 2025, competing against Elon Musk's Space X.
The launch of the rocket was delayed last week after unexpected issues. "No matter what happens, we'll learn, refine, and apply that knowledge to our next launch," Blue Origin stated. "We want to be clear about our objectives. This is our first flight and we've prepared rigorously for it."
Following the delay, Blue Origin has now successfully launched New Glenn, and the billionaire is sharing his excitement. The mission was accomplished without any incidents, with the rocket reaching orbit on its first attempt. "No caption needed those engines speak for themselves. GO BLUE GO NG!!" Jeff shared on social media.
Lauren has been a great supporter even before the launch. The former journalist commented on the achievement after the minor setback. "Baby you did it!!!" she wrote on Instagram. "So exciting watching New Glenn reach orbit on the first try. This is just the beginning! Love you."
The billionaire was praised by his fans and followers. "Congratulations. Go Team Blue. I love watching your success - it’s a huge accomplishment for the next generation," one person wrote, while someone else commented, "A day we’ll never forget!! Proud to be a part of Team Blue!"
Jeff's brother, Mark Bezos, also declared how proud he is of him, while members of the Blue Origins team shared congratulatory messages. Despite the company being a rival to Elon Musk's SpaceX, the businessman congratulated Bezos. "Congratulations on reaching orbit on the first attempt @jeffBezos," Musk wrote on X.
