Ivanka Trump is getting emotional about the "special moments" she shared with her family at the White House. The former first daughter and senior adviser shared a touching message ahead of her father, Donald Trump's second Inauguration, which is taking place on Monday, January 20, 2025, in Washington D.C.
The mother and businesswoman revealed that she is grateful for the memories she made and declared that she is proud of her father as he prepared to take the oath of office. Ivanka took to social media to share a series of photos, including photos of her kids at the White House and one where she can be seen dancing at the Inauguration Gala with her husband, Jared Kushner.
"As the Inauguration approaches, I find myself filled with gratitude as I reflect on special moments with my father and family from eight years ago," Ivanka wrote on Instagram, describing some of the special times "when we first stepped off Air Force One upon arriving in Washington, D.C."
Ivanka detailed some of her most memorable moments with her kids after Trump's first Inauguration in 2017. "Witnessing my father become the 45th President of the United States, lighting Shabbat candles with Jared in the Lincoln Bedroom on Inauguration Day."
She continued, "Watching Theodore crawl for the first time in the White House State Dining Room, and seeing Arabella sneak through the secret door of the Resolute Desk are memories I will cherish forever."
The author also said that she is excited about her father's second Inauguration and explained that she is proud of his resilience. "I look forward to watching my father take the oath of office again as the 47th President of the United States," she wrote. "I am proud of his unwavering strength and resilience and am excited to celebrate this historic milestone alongside him once more."
