Last year, the Spanish influencer Anabel Pantoja realized one of her dreams. She welcomed her first child on November 23, a daughter named Alma, whom she shares with her partner David Rodriguez. Earlier this month, Anabel and David faced one of their worst challenges, taking their daughter to the ICU where she's being treated for an unknown condition.

HOLA! Spain confirmed the news, speaking to a source close to the family and revealing that Alma's situation has worsened, resulting in a her being interned at the Insular University Hospital of Gran Canaria, one of the largest hospitals in Spain.

Alma was taken into the ICU, where she remains as of this writing.

Anabel's family quickly traveled to Canarias, moving from different parts of Spain to support her in this challenging moment. It seems like the family has let go of all of the issues that had plagued them in the recent past, with Anabel's aunt Isabel still making the trip despite not speaking with her kids.

Kiko Rivera and Isa Pantoja, Anabel's cousins, also don't speak to each other, and made their way to Canarias to be there for her.

HOLA! Spain reports that the challenging moment has brought the siblings together, with both of them supporting Anabel through this difficult time. Anabel and David have remained in the hospital since January 9th, when Alma was interned.

What do we know about Alma's health?

Few details are known about Alma's health, with sources in close contact to Anabel revealing that they expect this health issue to take longer to resolve. "Hope is the last thing that's lost," said the source.

Adriana Dorronsoro, a journalist from the program 'Vamos a ver' revealed that Alma is stable.

"She remains stable within the gravity of her situation," she said in Spanish. "Despite her delicate health, the last hours have been positive because she hasn't gotten worse."
