On January 12, a photo went viral from a man named Robert, who shared a heartfelt handwritten note from Swift dated February 23, along with a jaw-dropping $100,000 bonus. "Robert, Thank you for your superb work on the U.S. leg of The Eras Tour!! Your well-deserved bonus is $100,000," she wrote, adding "Love, Taylor," with a small heart.

While the note just hit the internet, it seems to be back from 2023. In  August 2023, news broke that Swift had distributed over $55 million in bonuses to her team at the end of the U.S. leg of her tour.

According to TMZ, she gave $100,000 each to the approximately 50 truck drivers who transported her stage equipment across the country. It’s unclear if Robert was one of them, but various other workers were also reportedly gifted a “very generous amount.”

There is news circulating at the moment saying Swift donated $10M to million donation for victims of the wildfires burning in and around Los Angeles. While Snopes revealed there is no evidence of this, Swift’s philanthropy is well-known.

In 2011, she donated $70,000 worth of books to the Reading Public Library, and in 2012, she released the song “Ronan,” donating all proceeds to cancer charities.

In 2015, she gave $50,000 to New York City schools and contributed to the African Parks Foundation of America to fight poaching. She also donated $250,000 to Kesha during her legal battle in 2016 and $1 million to Louisiana flood relief efforts. Swift continued supporting survivors of sexual assault with a donation to the Joyful Heart Foundation in 2017.

More recently, she contributed $100,000 to food banks during the pandemic in 2020 and helped raise funds for the Tennessee tornado victims that same year. In 2021, she donated $50,000 to the Nashville LGBTQIA+ organization, and in 2022, she made a significant donation to the Ukraine Red Cross amidst the ongoing conflict.

The pop star also contributed a $1 million donation to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee after tornadoes left at least six people dead and dozens injured, with hundreds of buildings damaged on December 9, 2023.

As Christmas neared in December 2024, Swift continued in the spirit of giving, donating $250,000 to a Kansas City children’s non-profit organization called Operation Breakthrough.
