Bella Hadid is celebrating her mother while grieving her childhood home. In a new Instagram post, Bella commemorated Yolanda Hadid's birthday by sharing various photos over the years and writing a sweet and touching message after the loss of her childhood home in Malibu due to the Los Angeles fires.
Bella shared the post yesterday, celebrating her mother's birthday. The post is made up of various photos that show Bella and Yolanda over the years, including childhood images alongside her sister, Gigi.
Photos show Yolanda blowing out a birthday cake with her kids Gigi, Bella, and Anwar, as all of them blew the candles and had their hands over their mom.
Bella also shared photos of the two enjoying some time by the pool, on the beach, and doing the things they love, including spending time with horses and on the Texas rodeo, an activity that Bella has grown involved with over the past year.
She captioned the post with a sweet tribute, sharing to the world that her mother is one of the biggest sources of peace in her life. "Happy birthday to the queen of my world," she wrote.
"With all that goes on, you are my peace. I love you mommy. Thank you for being you and all that you are. A guiding light, a loving heart, and generous soul. I feel so blessed God chose me to be your baby."
Bella Hadid on the loss of her childhood home
Last week, Bella revealed that her childhood home was lost due to the Los Angeles fires. In various Instagram stories, Bella shared photos of her home's remains.
"The memories we made in this house, the love my mama put in to building it, the family times, the stories, the friends, the love. I will miss you 3903 carbon canyon rd," she wrote.
While Bella discussed her grief over what was lost, she decided to help others affected by the fires by sharing GoFundMes.
"So, along with continuing to post for all communities affected, I am going to start posting some GoFundMes for friends that have lost their homes of 10-20-30-40 years in hopes we can give them hope and help rebuild. Sending love to everyone. I don't have many words. Love you guys."
