Eva Longoria is sharing her experience with the Los Angeles fires. The actress and filmmaker shared a story on Instagram discussing what she's been through over the past week, revealing that she had to evacuate her home due to the risk of the fires.
"It's been a crazy week," said Longoria in a video, recorded in her house after she returned to it.
"Devastating for so many people. So many friends who've lost a lot... homes. I know it's not things, it's memories, things that people have worked really hard for."
Longoria revealed that she and her family evacuated after their home was put under a warning. "Anyways, we decided to evacuate 'cause we were under a warning, and then we kept getting an alarm," she said. She revealed that she's now housing many of her friends and family who were forced to evacuate their own homes.
"My house is full," she said.
"I know a lot of people weren't so lucky. We've donated clothes, we literally emptied out my pantry to take down to all of the places that are accepting donations."

"I am going to be supporting This Is About Humanity. They are matching up to $50,000 for frontline essential workers and families that are impacted by the fires. I'm going to be matching that $50,000 personally," she said.
She concluded the video with an encouraging message, asking her followers and LA residents to support firefighters and first responders in order to mitigate the ongoing situation and prevent it from escalating. "I know there's a lot of stuff on social media," she said.
"I don't think it's the time to analyze what went wrong. We've got to get a hold of the situation right now. So everybody who's out there helping and doing their part, thank you."
