Jennifer Lopez and Kevin Costner reportedly talking 'every day' after their encounter in Aspen: His latest sweet gesture

It seems Jennifer Lopez and Kevin Costner are building a good friendship, following their respective divorces. The Hollywood star called it quits with his former wife Christine Baumgartner after 20 years of marriage, while the actress and performer split from Ben Affleck last year after rumors about their marriage struggles. 

The two actors recently connected in Aspen, Colorado. The pair were on vacation with their families in December and went to the famous celebrity hotspot Kemo Sabe, where other familiar faces were in attendance. 

“Since then, they’ve been talking pretty much every day, and the plan is to get together for dinner in the next couple of weeks, when their schedules line up,” a source detailed to Closer Online UK. It was also reported that the actor made a sweet gesture after their encounter in Aspen.

“At the moment things are still at the very beginning stages, but after they hung out in Aspen he made sure to send her a huge bouquet of her favorite flowers with a little handwritten note along with a magnum of champagne,” the insider revealed to the publication.

The source said that Jennifer's ex, Ben, has always "spoken very highly of Kevin," adding that she “loves how passionate Kevin is about making movies, and he’s also a musician,” while Kevin is “in awe of how incredibly fit and eternally young she is."

Despite their recent connection and potential friendship, the source said that Jennifer is not looking to get into a romantic relationship after her divorce, as she focuses on herself and her kids at the moment. 

“J.Lo isn’t ready to rush into anything right now but she does seem excited about the potential, and even if they wind up just connecting as friends, it’s still a massive ego boost to have him falling all over her like this,” the insider said.
