Paris Hilton revealed the devastating news that her Malibu home was destroyed by the 2025 California wildfires, sharing her heartbreak in an emotional Instagram post. The entrepreneur and socialite expressed her grief after watching her cherished home go up in flames on live television, an experience she described as "heartbreaking beyond words."

"Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience," Paris wrote. "This home was where we built so many precious memories. It's where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London."

The Malibu residence held deep sentimental value for Hilton and her family. She and her husband, Carter Reum, had envisioned it as the backdrop for countless future milestones with their two children, Phoenix and London. Hilton's words captured both the pain of losing a treasured space and her gratitude that her family and pets were unharmed.

"While the loss is overwhelming, I'm holding onto gratitude that my family and pets are safe," she continued. "My heart and prayers are going out to every family affected by these fires. To all the people who have lost their homes, their memories, and their beloved pets. My heart aches for those still in harm's way or mourning greater losses."

In addition to expressing her sorrow, Hilton called attention to the immense suffering caused by the fires, acknowledging the thousands of families facing similar devastation. She extended heartfelt gratitude to the firefighters and first responders risking their lives to contain the blaze, calling them "true heroes."

"My 11:11 Media Impact Team is already reaching out to nonprofit organizations today to figure out how we can best support the communities impacted by these fires," Hilton added. "We're committed to offering help as soon as possible and making a meaningful difference for those who need it most."

More than 200 acres (80 hectares) were burning in Pacific Palisades, an upscale spot with multimillion-dollar homes in the Santa Monica Mountains, shuttering a key highway and blanketing the area with thick smoke.

Actress Jamie Lee Curtis announced a $1 million donation to help victims of the fires. "As the fire still rages on and @calfire @losangelesfiredepartment and all the available first responders and agencies involved in fighting fire and saving lives are still hard at work and neighbors and friends are banding together to save each other, my husband and I and our children have pledged $1 million from our Family Foundation to start a fund of support for our great city and state and the great people who live and love there," she wrote, adding that she is "in communication with Governor (Gavin) Newsom and Mayor (Karen) Bass and Senator (Adam) Schiff as to where those funds need to be directed for the most impact."
