Meghan Markle has shared her excitement ahead of the release of her new Netflix show, which is set to be available on the streaming platform on January 15. The announcement has caused mixed reactions, with Prince Harry and Meghan's closest friends showing their support for the new project.
Netflix has been teasing the new series 'With Love, Meghan' on social media, using the hashtag for the show in anticipation of the release. Meghan recently surprised fans by joining Instagram before announcing her project, where she will be serving as host and executive producer.
"I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it. Wishing you all a fantastic new year! Thanks to our amazing crew and the team @netflix. Beyond grateful for the support - and fun!" she wrote, gaining over 1.4 million followers in recent days.
However, she suffered a minor setback when Instagram restricted the content by mistake. Despite the hitch, Meta responded and fixed the issue after noticing that the searches had been affected.
"We blocked people’s ability to search for terms related to potential child safety risks. In this case, the search term #WithLoveMeghan was restricted in error and has now been corrected," the company said in a new statement.
“We’re not in the pursuit of perfection, we’re in the pursuit of joy,” Meghan said in the trailer, which shows her exploring her passion for food while living her best life in California with her friends and loved ones. “I’ve always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it, surprising people with moments that let them know I was really thinking of them,” Meghan said.
“This is about connecting with friends, making new friends, and just learning.” She concluded, adding that “Love is in the details.”
