Justin Bieber is encouraging his longtime friend Rihanna to sing again. The two musicians were at the height of their fame during the early 2010s and shared many fun moments together, and while the pair decided to take a hiatus from musical projects, the 'Never Say Never' singer wants Rihanna to get back on the stage.

Justin took to social media to share a recent video of Rihanna where she can be seen singing her hit song 'Needed Me' from her 2016 album 'Anti.' "Missed seeing u sing Queen," the singer wrote on Instagram Stories, posting a reel from a Rihanna fan page.

"Even Bieber is missing you girl!!!" one person wrote, while someone else commented, "Justin has been a Rihanna stan since day one," adding, "I hope they collab on a BANGER one day."

Fans of the singer and businesswoman expressed their surprise after Rihanna hinted at her retirement from singing in 2024. The billionaire stepped out with her romantic partner A$AP Rocky in New York City wearing a blue shirt with the words "I'm Retired."

However, Rihanna clarified what she really meant during an interview with ET Online, commenting on recording a new album. "People got triggered with that retired word," Rihanna said to the publication. "They were like 'We're never getting an album now.' No one read the other line, it was something about, 'This is as dressed up as I get.'"

"I think that music, for me, is a new discovery," she continued. "I'm rediscovering things. I have been working on the album for so long that I kinda put all that stuff aside and now I'm prepared to go back in the studio. I'm gonna start -- give me a second!"

"I'm starting over," the mother of two added. "But I don’t want to neglect the songs that I have, so I actually want to go back and listen to stuff with new ears, with my new perspective and then see what applies and what I'm still in love with."
