Personal trainers who won the hearts of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities

The Cuban-born personal trainer and the singer had a brief romantic relationship in the 90s. The pair met while on a jog in Central Park in September 1995 and quickly fell in love after noticing their undeniable chemistry. 

They decided to call it quits less than a year later in 1997, but from their relationship, Lourdes Leon was born. The former couple are still amicable after successfully co-parenting their daughter. 

"He is ever present in Lola's life and we are friends," Madonna told Vanity Fair in 1998. "And I'm very happy. It took a while for us to get to this place."

"I knew that having a child would be an incredible healing experience...because I didn't have a mother. I just knew my karma was to have a girl, and I instinctively had a longing for her. But I didn't know what it was going to be like," she said to the publication. 

Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente continue to go strong in their relationship after it was revealed that they are expecting a child together. The model and the Jiu-Jitsu instructor have been inseparable following her divorce from Tom Brady, as it was reported that they became good friends and Gisele found support in Joaquim.

An insider revealed to Us Weekly that Joaquim and Gisele became good friends after the split, and they quickly realized they shared many things in common, including their active lifestyle. 

"[Joaquim and Gisele] were just friends for a year before things turned romantic," the source explained. A different insider said that they "moved in together" shortly after the divorce was finalized.

“Once [Bündchen’s] divorce was finalized, they moved in together and have been attached at the hip ever since,” the insider detailed, explaining that they “have a really strong bond,” and apart from being passionate about outdoor activities, they are both from Brazil, making their connection even stronger. 

Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria fell in love with her personal trainer Daniel Westling. The romance resulted in a lavish wedding ceremony in Storkyrkan Cathedral in 2010, which included two weeks of festivities in the Swedish capital.

 The pair met at the gym amid her health struggles at the time. Their engagement was announced in February 2009 and Daniel was made a Prince of Sweden and assumed Victoria’s subsidiary title, becoming The Duke of Västergötland.

Shawn Mendes and Jocelyne Miranda made headlines in 2023 after a rumored romance following multiple outings. The pair were seemingly happy together around Los Angeles before the singer got back together with his ex Camila Cabello.

The musician and his chiropractor were first photographed together in July 2022 but rumors about their romance started months later. However, the relationship was never confirmed.
